Stop email from Lead Race Alert

Send one email with the word STOP in it. That is the whole process. No account, no login, no confirmation link, and no "are you sure" second message.

Send the stop request now

That opens your mail app with the message already written, addressed to signup@leadracealert.com. If the button does not work on your phone, email signup@leadracealert.com from the address you want removed and write STOP.

There is no mailing list to leave

Most "unsubscribe" pages remove you from a list. This one cannot, because Lead Race Alert has no mailing list, no newsletter and no marketing automation. Nobody's address sits in a campaign tool waiting for the next send. What this page does instead is stronger: it puts your address on a permanent do-not-contact record, so no message of any kind is ever sent to it again.

What happens after you send it

We deliberately do not send a confirmation, because a confirmation is one more email to someone who just asked for no more email. If you would rather have it in writing, say so in your message and you will get exactly one short reply confirming it is done, and nothing after that.

How fast

Immediately in practice, and within one business day in the worst case. The address stops being contactable as soon as a person reads the request. There is no waiting period of ten days, because there is no campaign schedule for it to wait on.

If you also want what we hold deleted

Stopping contact and deleting stored data are two different requests, and you can have either or both. Say "delete" as well as "stop" and the stored copies of your messages are deleted. The do-not-contact entry itself stays, because it is the only thing that keeps the promise not to write to you again — unless you ask for that to go too, in which case it goes and we no longer have a record telling us not to contact you.

What is held, where, and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

If you got a message from us and want to know why

The reason for writing to a particular business is written down before the message is sent, and it is always something that business published about itself. Ask, and you will be told what the reason said and where the address came from. If you think the address should never have been used, say so in the same message and it is treated as a stop request as well.

Reaching a person

signup@leadracealert.com is read by a person, not by an autoresponder. Mail to any address at leadracealert.com is stored and reviewed, but that one reaches a human fastest.
